Question: Does god hate fags? or does he just hate what gays and lesbians do?

I wasn't aware that God hated what he created. Does God hate homosexuals and lesbians or only what they do? Is it an abomination to commit these so called perverted acts? Is masturbation a sin in God's eyes? Is gay and lesbian love making an abomination against God? Is AIDS God's curse on the gay community? Do only gays get AIDS and is God punishing them for the abominations that they have committed against him? Sodom and Gomorrah are in the Bible. Babylon, Greece and Roman fell due to God's anger. In my state, Massachusetts, gays and lesbians can marry and adopt children. Some of these people are utilizing donors and surrogates to conceive their own children. A lesbian mother using a sperm bank to fertilize her eggs to conceive and birth her own son or daughter. A homosexual man who finds a surrogate mother to conceive his son or daughter. The other partners of these pairings are like the stepfathers or stepmothers of the family. It's sort of like Mary and Joseph with Jesus, children conceived without intercourse through the intervention of not the Holy Spirit, but science and medical reproductive technology. Again, say to you that just as Mary and Joseph did not consummate their marriage and have intercourse together to conceive Jesus, so too do gay and lesbian couples utilize modern medicine to conceive their own children through the intervention of medical science (artificial insemination, surrogate mothers). The Christ child was conceived between Mary and the Holy Spirit. When Mary Shelley wrote "Frankenstein, " she said the reason that Frankenstein's monster was cursed is because he was a child conceived without love. He wasn't created with love, intercourse, and therefore he didn't have the capacity to love. What do you consider the offspring of these gay and lesbian parents to be? Christ like or modern versions of Frankenstein's monster? How does God feel about gays and lesbians? How does he feel about the children that they have either adopted or somehow conceived through the help of modern medicine? Are these people accepted into your church? Or like the House of the Serpent and the Spider, do you close your doors to them? Do you curse them and curse their children as the retched? Mary Shelley wrote that what Frankenstein created was not the monster. We are the monster, in our fears, and in our prejudices. Was she correct? Ah, so it is Fred Phelps who coined the phrase "God Hates Fags "? That is just stupid. If God hates fags, why did he make them in the first place? I have heard God doesn't make junk? He made gays and lesbians. "Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner " is an oxymoron. In what way is being what comes natural to a person a negative intention? It is a positive intention to embrace what God made you. If God made you gay or lesbian, so be it.

God does not hate any human being, but He sure does hate sin. I think it is wrong for gay couples to have their own kid. To me it seems that we need both male and female parents to love us and be our role models.

The latter. God Himself is incapable of hate. However, the nature of the ether has different physics. Negative intentions produce negative vibrations in the ether which in turn manifest negative things in the physical. You can be convinced of this by conducting the rice experiment. So, God always loves, but to get to Him, it's a rough path. The negative intentions of mankind make the stubble that we perceive as hate from God when it's really negativity generated by mankind. We have to obey the physics of the ether to get to God and the medium is called Jesus.

Im disappointed with the other answers people gave for this questions. lol. god loves everyone. but he is disappointed in what bad things we all do. gay and lesbian people are not going to hell or anything because of what they are attracted to. no one is perfect, and if we were, nothing interesting would happen in life. gay and lesbians are accepted into every church ive been in, and they are treated completely normal. when they grow up, they are allowed to adopt children to have as their own, and no one thinks that they shouldnt. god smiles on everyone, and his smile only slips the tiniest bit when he sees gay and lesbian folk.

Fred Phelps' god hates fags, but then Fred Phelps' god hates everyone. That's because Fred Phelps' god is a douche bag. @Sam It is a common misconception that God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality. This is partly based on the account of the actions of the men of Sodom towards Lot's visitors, whom they wanted to rape. Rape is an act of violence and should not be misconstrued as an act of sex. According to Ezekiel 16:49, Sodom's greatest sin was in not sharing it's wealth with its surrounding neighbors and those in need.

This is what I hate about the religion and spirituality section of this board. Sara gave a very good answer, attempted to be a voice of reason, show love and compassion in her response and gets slammed by three thumbs down (so far). I think this section is dominated by people who have staunch views all across the board and who frankly don't want reconciliation, understanding, love and compassion in the world. They just like to argue everything to death. I can't answer it better than Sara did. Great answer! The gist of it is that God hates the sin but loves the sinner. And he loves all sinners regardless of whether they happen to be heterosexual, homosexual, bi-sexual or any other sexual.
